  • When more strength and durability are needed than a direct resin can provide.
  • To replace old, failing large fillings.

The Process

For Direct Composite Restorations:
  • Tooth is prepared and cleaned.
  • Composite resin is layered into the cavity.
  • Each layer is hardened with a curing light.
  • Restoration is shaped and polished for a natural look.
For Indirect Inlays & Onlays:
  • Tooth is prepared and an impression or digital scan is taken.
  • A temporary filling may be placed while your custom inlay/onlay is fabricated.
  • At the next visit, the final restoration is bonded securely to the tooth.
  • Bite is adjusted and polished for comfort and esthetics.
